....to term 4 everyone, and here is our focus for the first 2 weeks.

Owai-Stock

Well, even though the hall was out of action, Puriri still decided to have our end of term disco, we just went outside instead! Happy holidays, Room 24!

Green Day Term 3

Another fantastic Green Day at Owairaka on Friday. We did a huge tidy up of our swimming pool area and Ben won the travel wise award. Nice job, Room 24.

Our focus......

Olympics Day

Wow...what an exhausting but fun Olympic Day we had. Room 24, along with our buddy class Room 5, took part in a series of events today, nice job people, vamos Argentina!

Last day.......

We made it Room 24, the last day of term. Well done for all your fantastic efforts this term. Have a well deserved holiday people.

We have been lucky enough to have the expertise of Mrs Somerville in Room 24 for the last couple of weeks. Many thanks for all your help and enthusiasm, Jane, it has been much appreciated by ALL of us.

VOLLEYBALL COMES TO PURIRI TEAM.....

PURIRI Team were fortunate enough to have some Volleyball coaching at school today. Here's some photos of Room 24 in action today. Remember: crouch, cushion, hit. Thanks to our awesome volleyball coach, Becs.

Ice ice....

We were lucky enough to get some dry ice to show Room 24 today. Big thanks to our fantastic Room 23 "teachers" Mahalia, Berlin and Duane for their expert help in our class.

We are scientists........

Science has come to Room 24 this week. After last week's attempt at mixing  coke and mentos, yesterday we tried the colorful milk experiment (tip- don't stir the milk) and today we have been designing our own parachutes using carrier bags and string. Check out some of our results.....
