Race Relations Day
Wow! What an amazing day we had on Friday 20th March for our Annual Race Relations Day. As ever, Room 7 came to the party dressed up in costumes from their culture and what a fantastic display it was. We had representatives from, among others, India, Samoa, Cook Islands, Scotland, Tonga, Maori.
We were also told an old folk tale from Russia, (thanks Valeria), and Isaiah's older sister showed us how to use traditional Maori poi and a game called "Pukana". Thanks to all for your enthusiasm and participation Room 7.
Race Relations day is such a fun day. All the students the students in Room 19 had to teach the class something about a chosen culture. some of us recorded videos of each other.
